Summary: It is a book about Alexander The Great's rich heritage. Alexander was a Greek who looked up to his relative Achilles. When he takes over as King of the Greeks, he sets out to find peach is Asia. It tells many stories about his life at war and the influence he had on the world at this time.
Reaction: I'm not big on mythology so I didn't have high expectations for this book. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed reading the stories about Alexander The Great and to learn more about him.
Problem: Countries were fighting and causing many wars and contention.
Recommendation: I would recommend this book to my kids or students. I would wait until they are old enough to really understand it. The author uses language that was common for that time so it is a little hard to read and understand.
