Summary: Grandma's Cat is a rhyming book about a woman's granddaughter and her adventures with the cat. At first the little girl follows the cat everywhere staying a fair amount of distance away. One time she gets close and a little rough with the cat and it scratches her. After this she doesn't like the cat but her grandmother tells her that if she is nice to the cat he will be nice back. The granddaughter starts being nice and rubbing its head. Pretty soon they are best friends.

Reaction: I didn't really have high expectations for this book as I thought that it would be a typical book. I was pleasantly surprised though. I loved the rhyming and thought that it made this book very cute and fun for children.

Problem: The cat and the granddaughter aren't getting along very well.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book to parents and teachers of young children. I think this book is a fun, thought prevoking picture book.
